Recently I became more intrigued with the CrossFit exercise program and culture. Admittedly I held back from participating in any programs as I was intimidated by the lifting aspect of the exercise program. I had never participated or been educated in lifting with free weights or a bar.
Recently I decided to jump in with both feet and try the program at Monmouth CrossFit in Little Silver. During the On-Ramp process Kevin took great care to introduce core movements and strength exercises to ensure proper form. He was able to make me feel confident that I could participate in CrossFit class. Not only do I feel stronger, but my running has also improved over the last 3 weeks! All the instructors and participants are welcoming, encouraging, and helpful at Monmouth CrossFit! I can’t wait for the next class and challenge!
